MediGold's Pre-AEP Broker FAQ
Greetings!

Here are a few of our most commonly asked questions by brokers.  If we haven't addressed a question that's on your mind, please don't hesitate to reach out to us anytime.

Q:  What is the fax number I will use to fax in paper applications?

A:  The MediGold fax number to send paper applications is 614-234-8622.  Your MediGold Broker Account Executive will notify you by email that your application has been received and is being processed.

Q:  How do I order 2022 Sales Kits?

A:  If you have a “Ready To Sell” status by September 15, MediGold will automatically send 15 sales kits for your region based upon your zip code. Agents should receive those sales kits by October 1, 2021.  If you need kits for other regions that you plan to sell in, you may order those kits from the MediGold Broker Portal after September 25.  Please contact your Broker Account Executive for assistance with ordering additional sales kits.

Q:  How do I access the MediGold Broker Portal?

A:  You can access the Broker Portal by clicking here.  If you do not already have access to the MediGold Broker Portal, MediGold will create an account for you after September 20.  Once your account is created, you will be notified by email that you need to log in and create your own password.  The log in email address for the Broker Portal is the same email account you use on the Miramar Certification website.  The MediGold Broker Portal will give you access to the details of your MediGold Book of Business, monthly commission statements, as well as a material fulfilment option so you can order additional sales kits, plan brochures, and other important resources.

Q:  Does MediGold offer remote/electronic enrollment options for agents?

A:  Yes, but you must access the online application through the broker portal to get “credit” for the enrollment. Do not use the link to the online application on the Medigold.com home page.  That link is designed for consumer use only.  MediGold offers two remote/electronic enrollment options for agents.  After you have logged into the MediGold broker portal, Click the “Enroll Now” tab.  Option 1 is designed when the agent is having a “face to face” appointment and wants to process an electronic enrollment instead of using a paper application.  It’s important to note that option 1 does not include the Scope of Appointment (SOA) form so a paper SOA would need to be completed for CMS record keeping requirements.  Option 2 allows agents to use the Connecture platform to complete the Scope of Appointment (SOA) form and the enrollment application with the beneficiary’s approval by sending a text to a smartphone, or thru an email link.

Q:  How do I find which providers are in MediGold’s plan networks, and which prescriptions are included in MediGold’s Part D prescription formulary?

A:  There are several ways to access this information. The quickest way is to go to medigold.com and click on the “members” tab at the top of the home screen.  There are links to the provider and Rx search tools right in the middle of that screen.
